Sony has announced that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Tablet P is now available to users in select markets. The update offers the full Android 4.0 operating system, as well as Sony's custom apps. There is also the ability to directly access an SD card and enhanced photo viewing options. Users should get a notification on their tablets when the update is ready to be downloaded and installed. It is not yet clear when the update will be available for the Tablet P offered by AT&T here in the U.S. This isn't the first ICS update to hit Sony's tablet line. The company already updated the Tablet S to Android 4.0 earlier this year.
